Let’s start with the overall performance
I got a total of 530,500 impressions which is 4,8% more than the previous 14 days. The best performing day was Monday 9 December with 52,843 impressions. I posted one time every day.
I published a lot of posts about my new course:
I launched a course on Monday 25th November (the authority-first framework). So I advertised this new product with promotional posts for a few days.
You can see a decline trend from Nov 27 to Dec 1st. That’s because the audience was a bit tired of the course launch (but that’s part fo the game).
Then, I restarted my normal editorial line that includes mainly authority posts with soft selling and soft CTAs.
Top 10 performing posts of the past 14 days
Number 10 is a poll
When I’m wondering what I should write about, I ask my audience. In this poll I asked what my audience would like to read about in the upcoming weeks. It’s a great way to know the trending topics.
Here are the answers by the way:
Number 9 is an infographic about positioning from 1 day ago
As you can see, I’m using the feedback of my audience to write about a topic they are curious about: positioning. The result? The post went straight to the top 10 after just one day.
Number 8 is a good surprise, but number 7 is a disappointment
Number 8 is a post featuring 13 rules for creating great content, accompanied by a picture of me. Usually, pictures of me do not perform very well. But on this one, I added a caption on the picture to trigger more curiosity. It performed well so it’s a good surprise.
Number 7 is a disappointment because cheat sheets usually get more impressions. 19,166 could be a good score for any type of post. But cheat sheets are supposed to get 40K+. This taught me 2 lessons:
People are tired of cheat sheets; honestly, there are too many.
The Social Selling topic is not something my audience likes.
Number 6 is a comparison table about short-form and long-form content
People love comparisons. In this table I compared the 2 types of content (short and long) to show their differences and why you need both.
Number 5 and 4 are carrousels
In 2023, carrousels were the best format. Some of them were getting 100,000 views. But this period is over and a good carrousel gets 30-50K views. I’ve used my 2 favorite carrousel types (the story and the list) here.
The story: how to prioritize your marketing roadmap
The list: 7 psychology concepts behind great content
💡 Did you know? I’m teaching you how to make great carrousels in my new course
Number 3 is definitely my favorite, it’s a technical post about B2B Marketing in 2025
This is my favorite post of the past 28 days. I took some time to reflect on the marketing playbook for 2025 and write 4 pillars to succeed. It attracted a lot of highly qualified marketers and got 38,611 impressions. I will write a full newsletter about this topic.
Here is what the infographic looks like:
Number 2 and 1 are… reposts from my best performing posts of 2024
Those 2 posts did pretty well because I invested a lot of time in the ideation and design. They condense a lot of insights in 1 infographic so people feel “I should save this”. That said, they got way less impressions that earlier this year. Have a look at the comparison.
