How to create your signature format with the RARE framework
Before you jump to the edition, here’s my latest video;
1/Why do you need a signature format?
In last week newsletter, I explained why your differentiation comes from the unique insights you share in your content. The second part of your differentiation process is the quality of the content you actually create. You need good ideas, good copy, and good design but that’s not enough for 2025. You also need a signature format.
Having a signature format is what turns your content from good to unforgettable. From “can be found anywhere else” to “I need to follow this person”. It makes your work instantly recognizable, helping your audience identify your posts before even seeing your name.
Overall, here are the 4 reasons why a signature format will improve your content strategy:
Instant recognition: People immediately know it’s your content before even seeing your name.
Stronger authority: A unique format makes your ideas look more credible and valuable (you’re not just copying others).
Consistency: A clear structure helps you publish regularly and create a consistent content plan.
Faster audience growth: People who like the signature format start following you to see the next one.
2/Analysis of big creators’ signature formats
When you analyze creators experiencing hypergrowth, you’ll often notice they have a signature format. My advice is to look back to the period when they gained most of their followers (not only what they are publishing now). I’ve gathered 4 examples, including myself.
Jake Ward in 2022/2023 used SEO case study carousels to grow his followers and become an industry authority
What he did: he turned his clients’ results into dense carousels with detailed step by step, results, and lessons.
Why it worked: it worked because you can download the carrousel and literally apply his process step by step.
Michel Lieben in 2024 started creating maps of his agency’s workflows with the tools they used
What he did: he created infographics showing the steps his agency used for cold emails, and brilliantly added the tools to each step.
Why it worked: it worked because the infographic feels highly actionable and savable. By reading and saving it, you access a top agency tech infrastructure.
I started creating “visual frameworks” in 2023 to highlight high level marketing strategies based on my experience
What he did: I analyzed all my marketing projects and identified patterns (problems, solutions, trends…) and turned them into infographics.
Why it worked: it worked because people love to have a simple breakdown of a complex topic thanks to a visually pleasing explanation.
Anthony Pierri and Robert Kaminski started publishing their positioning templates in 2023
What they did: they turned their positioning frameworks into visual templates that everyone can download and reuse.
Why it worked: it worked because people could instantly download them, apply the lessons, and create their own positioning.

3/ How to create your signature format with the RARE framework
Here’s the RARE framework in a nutshell:
Recognizable: people instantly know it’s yours before reading your name
Actionable: people can save and use them for their business or career
Repeatable: you can produce a large volume of them (not just 2-3)
Engaging: the format sparks interest (dwell time) and engagement
R for Recognizable
Your content should be instantly associated with you.
Use consistent visual cues: color, typography, layout, and structure.
Keep a predictable rhythm or pattern (e.g., frameworks, story arcs, visual breakdowns).
The goal: your audience should scroll and say, “That’s definitely theirs.”
A for Actionable
People can save and use your content for their business or career.
Every post delivers a practical insight, framework, or example.
It helps your audience do something, not just think about it.
That’s how you turn views into long-term authority.
R for Repeatable
You can produce a large volume of them, not just 2 or 3.
Built from a system, not from inspiration.
Clear structure that makes creation easy for you or your team.
Repeatability turns creativity into consistency.
E for Engaging
The format sparks interest (dwell time) and engagement
Encourages comments, saves, or shares naturally.
Delivers quick wins, clear takeaways, or strong emotions.
The audience participate in it, not only read.
Now here’s a last exercice to create your signature format:
Analyze your best posts: Look at your top-performing content and see what type of post got the most saves, comments, or shares. Look for the topics, visuals, and structure that worked.
Spot what’s unique to you: Find what makes your content feel different. It could be your layout, insights, tone, visuals, or the way you explain ideas. That will be the foundation of your signature format.
Systemize and repeat: Turn that pattern into a repeatable structure. Keep using the same visual cues, layout, and structure until people start recognizing your content instantly.
A signature format makes your content instantly recognizable and memorable. It helps you publish consistently, show authority, and stand out from others.
When your audience can spot your post before even reading your name, that’s when your format has truly become your signature.
