How to Write Authority Content in 4 Steps

You can't create great content with bad copy.
If you don’t know how to write content, this will happen:
You won’t hook your audience
You will waste time and energy writing
You won’t clearly communicate your message
You won’t be able to drive actions (follow, clicks, sales)
So you really need to have a content copywriting process.
From ideation, to final publishing via writing.

To create great content, you need to have a content copywriting process
If you don’t have one, you’ll open a document and face the blank page syndrome. In other words you won’t know what to write.
Use my 4-step content copywriting process
1. Start from the foundations with research and strategy
2. Ideate and structure your piece of content
3. Write by applying copywriting rules
4. Take a break, then edit your copy
Here are more details about the process:
1. Always start from strategic foundations
Ideal customer profile and target audience
The problem of your audience and their dream outcome
Your positioning and messaging strategy in mind
The most important foundation is the ideal customer profile (I teach you how to pinpoint their specific problem in the Authority-first framework)
2. Plan and structure your content in advance
The big idea of your piece of content
What content pillar is it linked to
The structure and framework you’ll use
Here’s an example of copywriting framework to use (I show you how to use it and 4 other ones in my Authority-first framework course):
3. Write with the right frameworks
The hook or headline
The body and main information
The CTA to drive actions
4. Proofread and edit after a break (quick or long)
Proofread after a break to improve
Cut the fluff to make the copy clear and direct
Get a peer review when needed
Structure your content to make it skimmable (I teach you how to do this in the authority-first framework)
