My morning routine, content creation process & how I unwind (plus, an announcement)

Today I want to switch it up and share something a bit more personal.
People often ask me how I manage to create content every day, run multiple projects and businesses, and not run myself into the ground.
So in this edition, I’m pulling back the curtain and walking you through a typical day in my life.

My morning routine…
I don’t have a complex morning routine.
I’m not awake at 5am and I don’t do cold showers.
Instead I do something refreshingly simple:
I wake up around 9am, grab myself a coffee downstairs, spend a minute breathing and enjoying it. I also walk in the grass sometimes.
Then get straight into deep work.
Daily deep work is what allows me to move the business forward (in the right direction)
The first 3–4 hours of my day are always for deep work.
That means no calls, no Slack, no emails.
Just focus.
I use this time to:
Create content (LinkedIn posts, newsletters, YouTube videos)
Work on launches or new course materials
Refine strategy for my bootcamps or my agency
This solo time is sacred to me. It’s what I’ve used to build multiple 6- and 7-figure businesses… and it’s what I’ll use to build several more.
After 2pm is when I do my ‘non-deep work’ — that includes all my calls with clients, partners, providers, etc.
I try to keep calls to a minimum. Not because I dislike talking to people… but because I find lots of calls tends to kill my creative energy. This way, I can channel my energy to the urgent projects.
By blocking my mornings for focused work and keeping meetings to the afternoon, I’m able to protect and use my creative energy when it’s at its peak.
My daily ‘non-negotiable’ tasks
My main ‘non-negotiable’ task — the task I must always do no matter what else is going on in my life is…
Publishing one LinkedIn post a day.
This one simple task has literally changed my entire life by turning me into an authority in the B2B content industry. One post a day is all it takes to build awareness, trust, and authority — and it all compounds over time.
Apart from this LinkedIn post, I have a few other non-negotiables and that’s making progress on at least 1 or 2 important tasks. It really depends on what are my ‘hot topics’ or ‘bottlenecks’ I have to fix.
For example, if I’m running a bootcamp, that might be reviewing clients content or preparing a masterclass. Or if I’m launching a new course, it could be refining the lessons or writing emails.
It changes depending on the project, but I always know what tasks I need to do to move the needle.

What my content creation process looks like
Some people like to bulk-create 10 pieces of content in one day… but I prefer to just write a few pieces of content every day.
Before 2pm (in my deep work session) is when I’m in content mode.
I’ll write LinkedIn posts, create infographics, scripts for YouTube, or my Substack newsletters (like this one). When I was just starting, I used to write for 4+ hours a day. These days, it's closer to 3 — but writing is still the most important part of my process.
I spend most of my time creating LinkedIn content, here’s the repartition:
I dedicate as much time as possible to creation:
And within creation, its 60% of design and 40% of copywriting (because design takes naturally more time).

Important note: Writing isn't just content creation for me – it's a critical thinking process. It's how I clarify my thoughts and develop my ideas.
The problem with my current work routine…
I'll be completely transparent:
I work a lot.
I have no type of ‘wind-down’ or evening routine… so I’ll often find myself still replying to DMs or jotting down content ideas at 9pm.
While I know I should have better boundaries, the reality is I'm building something important right now, and sometimes that requires extra time and attention.
That said…
Here’s what keeps me balanced outside of work
Despite my extended hours, I do maintain balance through:
Drawing with a pen and paper (which is part of why I love making infographics so much!).
Playing video games (both alone and with friends — Age Of Empire is my favorite game at the moment).
Spending quality time with my girlfriend.
Going out with friends about twice a week.
Playing a few games of chess in the middle of the day (I use it as a break when I feel stuck or need to reset … it’s fast, challenging, and surprisingly good for refreshing your brain before diving back into work).
I travel around 4 months per year. My recent trips include Japan, Singapore, Hungary, Austria.
When you’re building a business, it’s far too easy to get stuck in the trap of working 24/7.
It’s so important to have a few activities that allow you to just unwind — it’ll help you avoid burnout and you’ll be more productive in the long run.
Also, fun fact, I basically don’t use social media outside of work. No Instagram, no TikTok, nothing. For me, social media is just a way to run my business. I use it purely as a business tool.
Some content I’ve been consuming recently
I don't read that many books or newsletters.
Instead, I primarily consume content through audio and YouTube — usually content on philosophy, politics, and business.
One creator I’ve been enjoying lately is Dan Martell. His “Buy Back Time” concept is especially relevant to me as I hire and delegate more this year.
I also enjoy Daniel Fazio’s super actionable tips on client acquisition. His YouTube videos and newsletters are full of great tactics on marketing and sales.
If I do read something, it’s usually in French — typically newsletters from other European entrepreneurs and business owners.
What are my top priorities right now
Here’s what I’m focused on in Q2:
Building my bootcamps — my aim is to consistently enroll 10–20 students per month. The first cohort was a success and the second one is starting now.
Growing my course business — optimizing funnels, running paid ads, and testing new email sequences to generate more revenue
Advisory work for my agency — I don’t run ops, but I stay involved with strategy and marketing.
We always want to achieve so much in life, but you can’t do everything at once.
Narrowing down to 3 major areas of focus helps me stay productive and on-track without getting overwhelmed.
And finally… what do my weekends look like?
Weekends are sacred.
I rarely work at all on weekends, and if I do, it’s less than two hours total.
This allows me to step back from my work, recharge my batteries a little, and prepare for the week ahead.
